Two-car pileup in Chicago
Michelle and I saw this in Lakeview on Saturday night.
We were walking down Diversey when we came upon a group of people gawking at this display. Is it art? Are we on a movie set? Is this the apocolypse? Word on the street (literally) was that a bus had rammed into the red car, shoving it neatly underneath the one in front of it. Miraculous!
An hour later, we passed on the other side of the street, where a crowd was still gathered. We paused to stare again, and watched a man climb into the gold car on top, start it and drive off! The crowd groaned and gasped as the red car’s windshield crumbled and its hood was deformed under the weight.
